Pink and Green Garden Party

At N&L, there is nothing we love more than a party with a creative theme! No matter the occasion, we tend to get really excited over a unique theme…and Madolyn’s third birthday is no exception! Madolyn’s mom is one of our close friends and also owns The Social Office in Chattanooga. She throws the most incredible parties, but always goes above and beyond for Madolyn’s birthday! So you can imagine our excitement when she came to us for help with her third birthday with a unique theme in mind. This year, Madolyn has loved helping her mom in the garden, so for her birthday they threw her a pink and green garden party!! Cutest summer birthday party theme EVER!

For Madolyn’s garden party invitations, we created a gate-fold design, that was closed with a pink grosgrain ribbon. The outside of the invitation featured a gardening inspired pattern, which we created based on Madolyn’s pink and green garden supplies. The inside of the invitation had a classic white-picket fence, which made the pink and green window boxes and other garden accents really pop! We finished the invitation with a green and white striped envelope liner, which included a traditional three letter monogram surrounded by pink flowers.

For swag items, Dori let us really get creative with different gardening themed ideas and activities for the kids to do! Take a peek at some of the adorable pink and green party swag below!

We love that Madolyn’s birthday cake featured elements from her birthday invitation! Above the cake table was an oversized pink and green banner set against a wall of greenery!

For Madolyn’s party, we designed custom inserts for plastic flower pots. Each guest was able to color their own design and once done, they planted a flower inside to take home. Even though we fully believe that “a little dirt never hurt,” Dori didn’t want her party guests to go home covered in dirt from planting. So we created gardening aprons (which matched the rest of the party swag, of course) to keep clothes clean. The most creative touch to this pink and green garden party!!
