Hi everyone!!
We’re still stuck in a brutal deep freeze up here in Chicago…brrr!! This weather has us counting down the days until summer. Speaking of summer, we’re already preparing ourselves for summer 2014 brides, can you believe it?! We’re so excited to work with a new batch of couples this summer, but as we start to get our creative juices flowing, we’re reflecting back at some of the fabulous brides we worked with last year! On Monday we shared an elegant Nantucket wedding, so today we are anchoring down with a nautical engagement party.
This bash was held in Lake Geneva at the bride’s family’s lakehouse. With the help of the bride’s AMAZING and super creative mom, we helped throw Claire and Chris an end of summer party, not to forget!
What better way to welcome guests to a nautical engagement bash than with this custom designed life preserver!
The bride and groom, Chris & Claire!
Here’s a closer look at the monogram floating in the pool! The bride’s mom traced our logo onto a piece of styrofoam using a projector, cut it out, and painted it to make it coordinate with everything else! SO creative! Can someone say Martha Stewart?! Oh, then she anchored it down in the pool…no big deal.
The custom monogram we designed was a common theme throughout the party, adorning everything from the wait staff and embroidered bathroom towels, to the adorable cookie party favors.
The
Boutique Bites catering staff loved getting in on the fun, wearing our custom designed C&C engagement shirts!
Boutique Bites is an amazing catering company that specializes in the cutest tiniest bites of food..and it is DELICIOUS. Make sure to check them out!
