Mason’s King of the Jungle Birthday

When the little king of the jungle is turning one…there is only room for fun!! Earlier this summer, Mason King was turning one, so his parents threw him a jungle themed birthday party to celebrate. Mason LOVES lions (who we all know are the king of the jungle). His middle name also happens to be King, which was a really fun bonus for us to work with when designing his invitations and party swag! We ran with this wild theme and went all with the jungle animal theme for his adorable birthday. Join us on an adventure into the brush as we look through pictures from Mason’s “one-derful” king of the jungle birthday party!!

As far as colors for Mason’s invitations, his mom wanted to incorporate yellows, oranges, and greens. Which made it easy for us to narrow down some of the elements to include. We included a regal looking lion (he is a king, after all) and some tropical palm leaves on the front of his invitations. His mom wanted to include a picture on the back of the invitation (and how could she not, Mason is adorable!). So we combined with picture with some bold stripes to make the invitation pop. SO stinking cute!!

We love the king of the jungle birthday cake Mason’s mom had made!! It included some of our favorite elements from the invitations (including the palm leaves and a little crown)!

We love that all jungle animals joined in the fun for Mason’s party favors! Each guest got a bag with a different animal on the front. Inside each bag was a stuffed animal version of the animal on the front of the bag. Guests were also treated to a bubble wand that had a N&L favor tag on the end. Each tag was threaded on the wand using a vine looking string. The cutest finishing touch!!
