Dusty Blue and Gold Traditional Wedding

We are so excited to share today’s wedding! Earlier this summer, Anne Marie and Danny tied the knot in a traditional dusty blue and gold wedding. When we met with the bride’s family, they mentioned wanting to keep the paper traditional, but with a fun twist. Our favorite kind of wedding and design speciality!! For colors, they decided on the classic color scheme of blue and white for their wedding day. We elevated this by adding in a rich gold; such a beautiful way to make an even more elegant paper suite! We drew pattern inspiration from the beautiful cherry blossom centerpieces Anne Marie envisioned for the reception. This custom pattern we designed was used on the folio that held the engraved wedding suite, which was sealed with a custom monogrammed wax seal! This gave the suite such WOW factor; we love creating paper goods that take guests’ breath away! Take a peek below at more elements from this gorgeous traditional dusty blue and gold wedding!

While we loved all of the items we created for their wedding, their dusty blue and gold wedding invitations were the star of the show!! We kept the overall design traditional, but added in a few luxurious and romantic accents. The invitations were printed using gold engraving. The edges of the invitation were beveled and painted in a beautiful french blue color. Beveling and edge painting invitations are one of our favorite ways to add color to a wedding suite! The invitation and insert cards was enclosed within a folio printed with a delicate cherry blossom pattern. To seal the folio, we used a gold wax seal that had the couple’s monogram on it. So timeless and elegant! Anne Marie said she “felt like a queen” when stuffing her invitations. We have to agree. Her invitations certainly would be suited for a royal wedding!

In addition to an incredible invitation suite, we LOVE how elegant the pair’s wedding welcome boxes turned out! Anne Marie and Danny’s custom wedding monogram was highlighted throughout the box, giving it a super personal touch. The couple’s weekend itineraries ended up being super useful for guests, but also turned into its own work of art. We love the greek key around the edge of the cover page! Have you ever seen a more elegant welcome box?!
