In celebration of our favorite May holiday, we’re sharing some of our favorite Mexican inspired parties and Cinco de Mayo invitations we’ve helped with over the years! We’ve combined these parties with some fun and easy ideas to give your Cinco de Mayo celebration a festive touch!
One of our all time favorites, this housewarming fiesta is one for the books! When three girls from Texas move into a new home, there is only one proper way to celebrate…with a fiesta, of course! We helped them create brightly colored invitations and decorations for their housewarming. One of our favorite parts of their invitations was the Texas longhorn shape we added to the papel picado (the elaborately designed Mexican banner at the top). Such a fun touch to pay homage to their Texas roots. Home sweet hacienda!

What better way to celebrate a bachelorette party that in Mexico than with custom bachelorette swag with Mexican design influences?! For Steph’s bachelorette in Tulum, we helped her bridesmaids’ create monogrammed towels, cups, and a cute welcome bag to put it all in. Everything was brightly colored, and influenced by art-deco and Mexican design.
For a Texas engagement party, we helped the grandmother of the bride create some swanky fiesta invitations and party swag (including these adorable cups) to welcome guests to Texas!
Tacos, cervezas, salt and lime…it’s an engagement party fiesta time!
For this bridal shower invitation, we took inspiration from one of our favorite Mexican prints, otomi! Such a fun way to celebrate the bride-to-be!
These mango margaritas from The Pioneer Woman will definitely be consumed after 5pm today! In honor of Cinco de Mayo, Ree rounded up her favorite Mexican recipes including grilled corn guacamole, queso fundido, and her watermelon pico de gallo salsa. Yum!!
