Blush and Navy Nashville Wedding
We hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend spent with friends and family! It is such a blessing to live in this country and so many of us (including us!) take that for granted day in and day out. It is nice to reflect on what other people struggle with around the world to realize how thankful we should be as Americans; religious persecution, genocide, famine, the list goes on! As you were grilling out, beaching it, or laying by the pool, we hope this was somewhere on your mind!
Today we have the most gorgeous blush and navy Nashville wedding to share with y’all! Jack and Allison wanted a traditional paper suite for their wedding, but wanted a watercolor wedding logo to lighten up the overall look and allow for a more whimsical feel! The logo we designed used the couple’s first two initials and several blush colored abstract flowers; we loved how it turned out!
The wedding invitations were printed in navy letterpress and mailed in a custom designed folio which held all of the insert cards and was wrapped in the mist gorgeous blush colored silk ribbon! Elements of the suite were written out by hand by Val Cole Calligraphy, and the name portion was then used again when we designed the wedding programs for the church! We love how little things like this can truly help brand a wedding and take it to that next level!
Welcome bags filled with the couple’s favorite goodies greeted each guest upon arrival to Nashville, including an itinerary showing the weekend’s events and times! The door hangers for guests’ hotel rooms are always a crowd pleaser; they are one of our favorite elements too!
Allison and Jack’s navy and blush Nashville wedding ceremony was held at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Bellemeade. How precious is this photo of the couple on the church front lawn!
Guests then danced and partied the night away at The Bell Tower in downtown Nashville! The napkins printed with the wedding logo helped exapnd the branding from the paper goods into the reception, which is imperative in our book!
The wedding logo also was used in the venue’s lighting to create a backdrop for the band! Incredible!
We absolutely love helping bride’s create their own unique look for their special day, and have found our best role is designing something traditional with a twist! We think Allison and Jack’s branding and paper goods were exactly that, and we hope you enjoyed this southern soiree!
XO,
Nico and Lala
