Bear’s Wild One First Birthday

We cannot believe it is almost February! Speaking of February and the month of love, we have precious preset Valentines for sale online! We also have done all the hard work for you, and found cute matching inexpensive treats to coordinate with each design! Make sure to check them out! With all this cold weather we wanted to share with you an adorable winter Wild One First Birthday! When Barrett’s (“Bear”) parents came to us for invitation and swag help we knew it had to be special! We actually designed Michelle and Kevin’s wedding years ago, so they are a very special family to us! We worked together with Laura at Bliss Events Chicago who came up with the bear theme as a nod to Barrett’s nickname and the black and white gingham she planned to use as linens and accents throughout the venue!

The black and white gingham was the perfect starting point for the invitations and we also designed a watercolor pine tree pattern that was used as an accent! We decided on a folded format invitation and put Barrett’s monogram on the front! Inside, all the party details were listed along with a sweet little bear! The favors were given out in kraft gable boxes that were wrapped in matching black and white gingham ribbon and a branded sticker! The bear shaped cookies were also a huge hit!

How precious is the birthday boy in his matching little bib! And we cannot forget big sister Rose whos stunning pink and gold Minnie Mouse party you may remember from a few years back!

Signage always make such a difference when throwing an event; and this one is no exception! We love the play on words here from the lyrics of Sia’s smash song! Honestly, can anyone read this without singing it? We can’t! Mini water bottles were wrapped in custom monogrammed labels that matched the front of the birthday invitations, and we absolutely love the full color napkins! We began offering these last year and they make such an impact on a bar or table! 

The cake was absolutely to die for and the baker matched the invitations SO perfectly!! Are y’all dying?! Because we are dying. It is amazing to see so many different creatives come together and make an event just so special!

The bear head cake pops are also almost too cute to eat! Food cards were designed to sit in front of each treat and Laura at Bliss found these log holders for them to sit in that matched the party theme perfectly! And of course bear shaped plates help dress up the table that was covered in a black and white gingham tablecloth.

We know winter birthdays can sometimes be diffifcult to find themes for, and we thought y’all would love this Wild One birthday! It has that rustic and woodsy feel, yet is so chic and precious! See more over in the full gallery online!
