Beach Chic Wedding at the Gasparilla Inn
Now that we’ve been in business for ten years (!!!), we’ve done our fair share of weddings. From small destination weddings on the other side of the world, to extravagant affairs set in your own backyard…we’ve done it all! We truly love working on all different kinds of wedding, but get really excited when we’re approached about a certain type of wedding. Those would be weddings from our “repeat” families. Meaning our clients who come back to us again when their second (or third) child is getting married. Our repeat wedding clients are SO special to us, and we always have the most fun working with them!
Years ago, we were lucky enough to work with the Konstant family on their eldest daughter’s wedding. Kali and Matt’s Chicago Botanic Garden Wedding is still one of our favorites to this day!! It ended up being so classic and incredibly beautiful. So we were delighted when Kali’s younger sister, Natalie, wanted to meet with us regarding her wedding. Natalie and Luke (her now husband) were having a destination wedding in beautiful Boca Grande. Natalie is an interior designer, so she has an incredible eye for design. Combined with what we already knew about her awesome family, we knew working on their wedding was going to be fun! Take a peek below at the final product of Natalie and Luke’s beach chic wedding at the Gasparilla Inn. It is absolutely STUNNING and filled with SO MUCH beach chic wedding inspiration!!
To keep the color scheme mostly white (with a tiny pop of color), we printed the invitations in white foil on a beautiful white cotton paper. The edges of the invitations were painted in a pale yellow. Such a fun pop of color! To keep all pieces of the invitation together, the suite was enclosed within a white folio. The folio was blind embossed with a palm leaf pattern that the bride’s father sketched. Each folio was wrapped together with a yellow and white striped twine. A small tag printed with a beach umbrella and their wedding date hung from the twine. The perfect finishing touch on their beach chic wedding invitation!
To properly kick off their wedding weekend, Natalie and Luke welcomed wedding guests at an all white welcome party at the Useppa Island Club. Guests were treated to a short cruise over to the island to get the party started. On land, guests were given flip flops for the short walk from the dock up to the club.
To bring the tropical feel of the island to their all white welcome party, Natalie decided on bright, colorful centerpieces. On each table sat an assortment of different tropical fruit, palm leaves, and orchids surrounding a candle. One of the most creative centerpieces we’ve ever seen!! We matched all paper items for the welcome party to these bright colors and incorporated tropical flowers. So fun!!
The ceremony was held beneath a canopy of giant banyon trees on a street, which is appropriately named, Banyon Street! Talk about an absolutely stunning wedding location!!
After the ceremony, guests headed over to the Gasparilla Inn for their dreamy white wedding reception. The reception overlooked the ocean, and was the perfect place to celebrate Natalie and Luke’s marriage!
To add a pop of color to the mostly white table settings, we printed the wedding menus and table numbers in a bright yellow. We love the handwritten look of each menu. The perfect compliment to this beach chic table setting!
Congrats to the happy couple on their wedding! We’re SO happy we got to be part of your special day!!
Is their wedding not insanely beautiful?! We are OBSESSED!! To see more pictures from Natalie and Luke’s All White Wedding in Boca Grande, visit their full wedding gallery. It has so much beach chic wedding inspiration.
