An Elegant Backyard Wedding in Georgia

There’s something truly special about a wedding held at the bride’s family home! Hailey and Isaiah tied the knot earlier this year in an elegant backyard wedding at her family’s home in Georgia. Set amongst lush greenery with mountains off in the distance, the home played perfect host to their elegant backyard wedding day. Together with Dori Waller of The Social Office, we worked with the bride and her mother to create a beautiful wedding . There were so many thoughtful, Southern details infused throughout their wedding celebration. From the hand-painted watercolor wedding monogram to the blue and white ginger jar accents sprinkled throughout their wedding reception, every moment of Hailey and Isiah’s wedding day was perfectly executed (and picture pefect)! Hailey and Isaiah’s elegant wedding invitations were printed in gray letterpress on a thick, cotton paper. The edges of the invitation were beveled and painted in a leaf green color, giving the invitations a luxurious pop of color! Such a chic detail! The reception card highlighted a sketch of the bride’s family home (since that’s where the reception took place). We love including personal details like this; it truly makes their suite custom! Even with all these elegant design accents, the true star of the show on their invitation was the hand-painted watercolor wedding monogram. Their monogram was printed on a piece of vellum that laid on top of the main invitation. Such a beautiful way to showcase such a special monogram!!

The couple’s backyard wedding recpetion was dripping in greenery, with sublte pops of blue and gray. Their tented recpetion could not have been more beautiful!

We love that the couple’s wedding monogram made their way onto the tables at the wedding reception. The watercolor monogram was present both on the dinner menus and table numbers. We believe that a Southern wedding should always have some sort of chic, monogrammed accent!!
